March 25-29, 2010 Meaher State Park, Mobile Bay Causeway, Alabama

Meaher State Park is right on Mobile Bay, on the old causeway. Thru traffic uses the I-10 Bayway, but the causeway is still functional and has much less traffic. It also includes some very good seafood restaurants.

Getting set up and settled in for a few days.

Interesting boardwalk out into a small island in the bay; I bet when the weather warms up there will be plenty of creatures to observe. Downtown Mobile on the other side of the bay.
