The ferry ride from Newfoundland to Labrador was
not smooth! The wind was up, and there were some pretty big swells out there, plus lots of whitecaps - we were happy to see the dock. We set up camp in rain and wind, using our rain gear for the first time this trip. Our first full day in
Labrador was misty/rainy and lots of wind. So, we visited two museums and the
Pointe Amour Lighthouse!

We saw versions of this sled everywhere in Newfoundland and Labrador, still being used to haul firewood.
But now they are pulled by fourwheelers and snowmobiles, instead of dogs. |

Yuppers, we see those view finders everywhere. Cool, huh?
