After our quick look-see up at Historic Blakeley State Park, we came back down to Daphne where we had lunch with old friend Glenn Wayne and his friend Sharon; we ate at Moe's BBQ place. Very excellent brisket! We four sat outside at a picnic table and had a grand old visit. It was good to meet Sharon, and she even brought us some home-made muffins - yum!
After our delicious lunch in Daphne, we went across the bay to visit with our friend Mimi Fearn. She took us over to Halls Mill Creek to show us the new home she's building. What a wonderful spot, and a great house! Looking forward to seeing the finished home. Got to pet her two doggies, too.
Tomorrow we drive the rest of the way home.
