July 18, 2015 Grand Teton National Park

Today we hopped in the truck and drove all around in Grand Teton National Park.  The weather was cloudy and threatening rain all day, so there wasn't much hiking going on.  But the views were dramatic, and we had a wonderful time seeing familiar places.  Here are some pictures, in no particular order.  Oh, did I mention that the wildflowers are all blooming?

Jenny Lake

Willow Flats.  That's a beaver dam in the middle.  Saw my first yellow warbler here.
Pinedrops.
Left to right: South Teton, Middle Teton, Grand Teton, and Mt. Owen.
The top of Grand Teton has a cloud over it.
One of my favorite churches in all the world.

Behind the alter is this view.

The weather was misty cloudy.
Selfie at Jenny Lake.
Teton Glacier.  Camera zoomed to the max.

Harebells.
Lupines and Sulphur flowers.

Bear scratches on tree trunk.
Storm in the valley.
THE END!
