June 1-2 Melville Ponds Campground, Portsmouth, RI

On our way to Portsmouth, we took the coast road and found the Point Judith Light at the Atlantic Ocean, where the wind was blowing really hard & the air was actually chilly! The next day we rode our bikes 16 miles on the East Bay Bike Path, which borders Narragansett Bay from Providence down to Bristol (where we started). Some interesting sights along the way, including some feathered fowl. After the bike ride, we stopped at a Topiary Garden; then the rocky shore of the bay as fog rolled in.

Point Judith Light; Bristol City Hall; East Bay Bike Path.

Large goose commune has laid claim to the bike path and greeted us with vigor! A swan and goose confrontation, probably about someone getting too close to someone's babies.

Bubba with a topiary unicorn; interesting hedge; topiary animals.

Nannie at the koi pond; rocks & rabbits; fog coming in on Narragansett Bay.
