July 22, 2012 Yellowstone National Park, day 1

Our first day in The Park, we drove from Mammoth Hot Springs down the west side to Tower-Roosevelt, then down to Canyon Village. We stopped and saw multiple awesome sights, but when we got to Canyon Village where the Upper and Lower Falls are, the traffic backed up so badly that we headed across the park to the east side and headed back up via Norris and the Norris Geyser Basin. Here is a tiny sampling of the pictures we took.....
