Our next stop on Hwy. 20 in Washington State was at Sherman Pass. There is an overlook there which includes a short trail, all about a 1988 fire. It was a nice spot, and it was good for the truck to cool off a bit.

Dislike those behemoth logging trucks. Dislike smoke and fires, too. Head for the coast!
