Our next stop across the Cascades was at Diablo Lake Overlook. Beautiful! Glacial aqua water, big tall mountains shrouded in clouds. Still chilly out there!

And then, today's surprise: a whole PARADE of low-riders arrived! There must have been about 50 or so, all shapes and sizes. They took up at least half the parking lot, and we just watched in amazement. You just never know WHAT you will see at a roadside stop.....
