July 3-6, 2013 Westward Ho!

Here are a few of the sights we saw along our drive west from Thunder Bay, Ontario to Livingston, Montana.  You just never know what you'll see next.....

July 3, 2013 Border Crossing, High Falls, Lupines

Crossing into the USA.

High falls on the Pigeon River, which is the border between USA and Canada.

July 9, 2012 Western Minnesota

Crossing Minnesota, we saw a sign near Jacobson that said "Mississippi River" so we pulled into a little park. Looks pretty dinky, doesn't it? Also a picture of me standing beside a huge field of corn which is beside our campground at Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.

July 8, 2012 Lakefront at Duluth, Minnesota

We spent the day hanging out down at the lakeside in downtown Duluth. Really enjoyed it! The city of Duluth is on the steep hillside that goes down to the lake, and driving down there was exciting for us flat-landers!
