July 17, 2014 Hopewell Cape, New Brunswick.

After we arrived at the Ponderosa Pines campground, we took a little walk around.  The campground is on the Bay of Fundy and had some nice walking trails which meandered around the dikes (we call 'em levees) and ponds and thru the woods.

Wild roses.  Almost-wild Bubba.

Don't know what these pretty purple flower vines are, but they are everywhere.

geese heading for shore.
(periscopes UP!)

A chunk of high land jutting into the Bay, wearing a fog hat.

Bubba got lucky and snapped a picture this cedar waxwing.

One of the "ponds" which had been drained by a hole in the dike.
These dead birch were so ghostly and that tall grass was so smooth!

This flower spike just called out "look at me!  photo op!"
So we obliged.
