The Hoh River is swift, glacier-fed, rocky, and flows from the Olympic Mountains down to the Pacific Ocean. In August, the river is low. I keep wondering what these rivers must be like in the spring and early summer when the snowmelt is happening..... We spent about an hour wandering around in the dry streambed, looking at rocks, listening to the water, and enjoying the cool air and warm sun. Life is Good!
