The
Hoh Rain Forest, on "wet" western side of the Olympic peninsula, is VERY mossy. The Hoh is a native American tribe, and also the name of the river that we visited - see separate post. We hiked two short trails here, the Hall of Mosses trail and the Spruce Nature trail. What a wonderland of moss and lichen! Amazing, how every surface is covered with something green.
