July 25, 2016 Yarmouth, Nova Scotia

We spent a couple days at Yarmouth, Nova Scotia and wandered around the immediate area.  Visiting the Cape Forchu Lighthouse (called the "apple core") was a pleasant day trip, with perfect weather.  Another excursion had us visiting the local Yarmouth County Museum.  Local museums are always high on our list - you just never know what you'll find....

Lovely display of hydrangeas at Frost Park.
Something about this sign just captivated us both...
Shore rocks and flowers of Cape Forchu.
The Cape Forchu Lighthouse.
The lighthouse, up close and personal.
Silliness.
MORE silliness.
At the Yarmouth County museum.
Runes?  Jury's still out.
This camping rig just fascinated us;  driven by two guys from Poland.
The only access to the upper tent section was through a trapdoor into the rear of the SUV.
This thing can drive over or through ANYthing, including water.
