July 30, 2013 Eastport, Maine (again)

We were here two years ago, but we liked it so much that we came back.  The local campground is wonderful, and we enjoy this little "easternmost" town.  Here are some random pictures.

The land in the background is Canada.

A load of lobster traps on a truck.
The old derelict building was a fish packing plant.

The local bay is named for the Passamaquoddy tribe.
We stopped in the library to buy some bargain books, and look what I found:
anybody remember what this is?
One of the local attractions is Raye's Mustard.  We stopped in and looked around,
saw the old-fashioned grinding works.  Pretty interesting - click on the link.

Having lunch at the Happy Crab, we admired this flag.
There is a lot of American-Canadian good will here!
